Closing Costs to Expect:

  • Title insurance fees depend on the sales price of the home. Title search and exam fees are in addition to the insurance premium.
  • Broker's commission is a full-service fee and will cost 4.95% to 6.95% depending upon the plan you choose. This generally covers the fees for both Seller's and Buyer's agents.
  • Transfer fees are the charges that you'll pay to the county when you sell your home.
  • Real Estate taxes must be paid up-to-date at the closing of the sale. The amount will depend on when you close and when your taxes are due.
